EPG Explorer is an "Electronic Programme Guide" application that works in tandem with DAB Bar 1.3. Many stations on the BBC, MXR, CE London and Capital South Hampshire multiplexes are now broadcasting programme information, with additional multiplexes broadcasting an EPG in the near future.

The EPG software can decode the transmitted information, display it to allowing easy browsing of the listings and single click scheduling to record you favourite programmes. The listing also includes extra programme information to let you know what you are listening to and useful contact details and Internet links.

You can download EPG Explorer 1.1 CR4 from the download page. This version works with the new transport system (version 1.0.3) that has been rolled to all UK comercial multiplexes in Feburary 2005. The BBC national multiplex is also running trials in the new format.

In the future, the EPG application will also be integrated into DAB Bar, enabling users to access full programme information and a scheduler directly from DAB BAR.
